"The `Beyond the Box: Innovations in Dance and Other Arts Therapies´ conference will explore latest trends, techniques, and practices in dance/movement therapy (DMT) and other arts therapies in India and around the world. `The Box´ symbolizes widely-practiced and established methods within creative arts therapies. Stepping out of the box, this conference will explore innovative uses of therapeutic spaces; intersections of mental health, science, and technology; and the integration of techniques across creative arts and related disciplines. Discussions will further delve into the ethical considerations and challenges of incorporating augmented reality, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence into therapy, including how to navigate data privacy, secure consent, and maintain the therapeutic relationship in the digital age. Through presentations and experiential workshops delegates will gain insights into creative methods and case studies, enhancing their knowledge and skills. Practitioners, researchers, and students are invited to contribute to this dynamic discourse on the opportunities and challenges of emerging technologies and practices that will continue to transform creative arts therapies worldwide."
